OPESIDI and AARIS are both schemes in the oil palm estate/plantations value chain an agribusiness partnership investment in the oil palm sector. This initiative has to do with the establishment of an oil palm estate on a partnership basis. The ownership here is in slots: a partner that owns a slot on the estate is referred to as an Indirect Cluster Farmer (ICF) who is expected to be a Federal Government worker that is already enrolled on IPPIS.

Benefits of OPESIDI/AARIS to subscribers
The total investment cost is expected to be sourced from Central Bank of Nigeria by Union Bank at 9% interest on behalf of the subscribers on this scheme.

This gives a subscriber an opportunity to benefit various interventions such as agricultural loans and grants. - He stands to benefit a life assurance policy covering the total investment cost in the event of death or permanent disability for the period insured.
